Zoning Code
The Zoning Code describes Paramount’s zoning districts and land use classifications, land use regulations, and development standards. The Zoning Code’s purpose is to protect and promote the public’s health, safety, and general welfare.
The code is updated after the City Council adopts an amendment to the Zoning Code. The link below will take you directly to Title 17 (Zoning) of the Zoning Code. From that page, there are links to each chapter of the Zoning Code.

Each property in the City of Paramount has a certain zoning designation. The City has residential, commercial, and manufacturing zones.
If you own a business, before you sign a lease, please consult with the Planning Department to verify that your business is permitted at a particular property and zone.
