Public Safety Rebate Programs
The City of Paramount is offering rebates of up to $200 for residential properties and $2,000 for businesses to purchase new security products. The rebate programs operate on a first come, first served basis with limited funds.
Eligible Security Products:
- Security Camera Systems
- Alarm Systems
- Motion Sensor Flood Lights with Cameras
- Doorbell Cameras
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING
To apply, fill out the online application below. Make sure you have completed the following requirements before submitting your rebate application:
1. Your purchase date must be within 60 days of your application date.
2. You must use a credit card, debit card, or cash to purchase your security products or services (read below for more information). Make sure your receipt shows the last four digits of your card.
3. Make sure you upload a photo(s) that shows the security products installed on your property.
4. Make sure you upload a copy of your receipt or invoice.
5. Your receipt or invoice must show the purchase date, product amount, payment method, company name, and product description.
To ensure an easy rebate process, please do not have multiple transactions on your receipt or invoice.
WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED?
⚠ – We do not accept store credit, gift points, gift card, or cryptocurrency transactions.
⚠ – We do not accept applicants who have already received a rebate. Only one rebate per household/business.
⚠ – We do not accept rebate applications for firearms, firearm accessories, or dangerous weapons.
⚠ – We do not accept incomplete rebate applications or rebate applications outside the 60-day requirement.
The Public Safety Department will notify you when your rebate check is available for pick-up at the Paramount Sheriff’s Station. For more information, please contact the Public Safety Department at (562) 220-2002.
Window Bar Removal Rebate Program
The City of Paramount is offering a rebate of up to $2,000 for residential properties to go towards the removal of existing window bars. The rebate program operates on a first come, first served basis with limited funds.
Program Eligibility Guidelines:
- Applicant must be a tenant or property owner of a residential property in Paramount
- Rebate only applies to pre-existing Window Bars that are viewable from the public
- Removal work must be performed by a licensed company or individual
- Applicant must provide an invoice or receipt that includes the date, company name, method of payment, and a description of the work performed
- Applicant must provide photographic evidence that the service was performed (pictures of the windows pre- and post- removal)
- Applicant is responsible for any costs incurred beyond the $2,000 rebate amount
- Rebate only applies to direct removal service and does not include any replacement security items or building façade repairs/enhancements
- There are no income restrictions
