The City of Paramount is aware of recent reports of immigration enforcement actions taking place across Los Angeles County, including a presence at a location in our city.
We understand that these events have created fear and uncertainty among many of our residents, and we want to extend our heartfelt support to those who may be directly or indirectly impacted.
As a city, we are committed to fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all members of our community—regardless of immigration status. In alignment with our partners at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, we want to reaffirm that Paramount does not assist federal immigration enforcement operations in any way.
We know that moments like these can be deeply distressing. We encourage those impacted to seek help from trustworthy services which are available on our website.
