How to submit a Request for Proposal (RFP)
To participate in an RFP process, follow these steps:
- Request the Bid Documents from the information below.
- Review the requirements: Carefully read the scope of work, submission instructions, and evaluation criteria.
- Submit your proposal: Ensure all required documents and forms are completed and submitted before the closing date. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Proposals MUST be delivered in person to the address specified in the RFP document.

Register to Become a Pre-Qualified Contractor
The City of Paramount Public Works Department invites interested contractors to complete a Contractor’s Pre-Qualification Application to be placed on the City of Paramount’s 2026 Pre-Qualified Contractor’s List for the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA)
This list is designed so contractors can receive “Notice Inviting Bids” for informal projects under $220,000 in their work category, per California Public Contract Code Section 22034.
Note: Only pre-qualified contractors will be added to the 2026 Pre-Qualified Contractor’s list. Those who wish to participate in the City’s public bid process shall fill out an online application in advance of bidding. Applications are valid from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026 and shall be renewed each calendar year.
