Public Safety Joint Powers Authority

Improving public safety requires a comprehensive set of accountability and prevention strategies that can more easily be accomplished by working with our regional partners. By forming the Station Cities Public Safety Joint Powers Authority (JPA), the cities of Paramount, Bellflower, and Lakewood have created a platform that helps supplement each cities’ respective law enforcement services.

The JPA will promote collaboration among the three cities to plan, coordinate, and provide various public safety resources that aid in addressing quality-of-life issues and improving the overall safety of our three communities.
