L.A. County’s Vote Centers, Vote by Mail and official Drop Boxes make it easy for everyone to participate in the Statewide Special Election on Nov. 4, 2025.
Check your voter registration
You can check your registration status and learn about voter registration options at the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk website.
The last day to register to vote online or by mail is Monday, Oct. 20. If you miss the deadline, you can register to vote or update your registration information for the election by completing the Same Day Voter Registration (Conditional Voter Registration) process at vote centers.
Three ways to vote
Check your Vote By Mail packet for your ballot and pre-paid return envelope, and locations of official Drop Boxes and Vote Centers near your home.
By mail
Complete your ballot and use the pre-paid return envelope to mail your ballot.
Be sure it’s postmarked no later than Nov. 4, election day.
You can track your ballot using the State of California’s Ballottrax website.
Official Drop Box
You can drop your completed ballot in one of the Official Drop Boxes around town, including:

Drop Boxes in Paramount are open 24 hours a day until 8 p.m. on Election Day. Ballots are securely collected regularly at each Drop Box by L.A. County Register-Recorder/County Clerk staff members throughout the voting period.

Track your ballot
Sign up for Where’s My Ballot so that after you mail or drop off your ballot, you can receive personalized text messages, emails and/or automated voice messages letting you know when your ballot has been received and counted.
This is a free service available to all registered voters.
