City Council

The governing body for the City of Paramount consists of five residents, elected at large. Each year, the elected Councilmembers elect one member to serve as Mayor and another member to serve as Vice Mayor. Each member of the Council serves a four-year term of office.

The City Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., respectively. If you cannot make it to a Paramount City Council meeting but would like your thoughts shared with the City Council, you can deliver a written statement to City Hall ‐ either dropped off or by mail ‐ to be received by noon the day of the meeting.
