Air Purifier Rebate
Air Purifier/HVAC Filter Rebates Available for Residents
The City has established a Residential Air Purifier and Filter rebate program to help residents improve indoor air quality. This initiative provides financial assistance for purchasing “True HEPA” air purifiers and replacement filters. Due to Paramount’s location near freeways, railways, and the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles, our area can be prone to the negative impact of diesel particulate matter. It was with this in mind that the new program was developed.
- Residents can receive a rebate of up to $75 for replacement filters.
- Residents can receive a rebate of up to $150 for one of these air purifiers.
- If residents purchase an air purifier and replacement filters together, they can receive a rebate of up to $200.
Program Eligibility Guidelines:
- Applicant must be a Paramount resident.
- One rebate per household
- You must use a credit card, debit card, or cash to pay for the air purifier and/or filter.
- Purchases made with a gift card will not qualify for a rebate.
- Air purifiers must be “True HEPA” (which capture up to 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns or larger and can also filter detectable odors).
- Household HVAC filters must have a Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) of 13 on a scale of 1 to 16.
- Applicant must provide an invoice or receipt. Documents must show the type of air purifier unit/filter and include the last four digits of any payment card used.
- Online application must be submitted within 90 days of the purchase date

To take part in this one-time rebate, fill out the online application below. Make sure you have completed the following requirements before submitting your rebate application:
- Verify that your air purifier unit or HVAC filter was purchased within 90 days of your application date.
- Verify that your invoice/receipt shows the method of payment, and the last four digits of any payment card used.
- Make sure you upload a photo of the item(s) purchased outside of the box and a copy of your receipt/invoice.
