To help the community stay protected during poor air quality conditions, N-95 masks are being distributed at two convenient locations in Paramount.
Paramount Sheriff's Substation
15001 Paramount Blvd.
Monday through Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Holidays (MLK Day): 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Paramount Senior Center
14400 Paramount Blvd.
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Please note that a limited number of masks are available and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
The donation drive was hosted from January 10 through 31, and has now concluded. No donations are currently being accepted at this time. Please consider donating at one of the organizations at the bottom of this webpage.
Outdoor recreation has returned to regular programming.

How to Support Southern California Wildfire Relief
For those wishing to donate or support recovery efforts, a list of organizations providing aid to wildfire victims and first responders is available available below.
American Red Cross
The American Red Cross is providing support to victims, accepting volunteers, and monetary donations to assist in disaster response.
Red Cross Reunification – For those looking to reconnect with someone impacted by the wildfires, please fill out the form to be entered into the system.
Red Cross Volunteers – Become a Volunteer – Anyone interested in joining the Red Cross as a volunteer is encouraged to submit a volunteer application. For groups wishing to volunteer, please email VolunteerServices.LosAngeles.CA@redcross.org.
Monetary Donations enable the Red Cross to prepare for, respond to, and help people recover from disasters big and small.
Other Community Resources
- Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Foundation Wildfire Emergency Relief Funding is seeking funds to equip LAFD members battling wildfires with equipment and supplies such as emergency fire shelters, hydration backpacks and wildland brush tools.
- The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is working with government agencies, nonprofit, faith-based partners, and others to respond to the fires throughout Los Angeles County.
- The Pasadena Community Foundation has opened the Eaton Canyon Fire Relief and Recovery Fund, providing an opportunity to support immediate and pressing needs even as the fire continues to spread.
- Wildfire Recovery Fund – California Community Foundation supports communities with both intermediate recovery and long-term resilience to rebuild and restore the lives of California’s most affected and underserved populations.
- Los Angeles area YMCA’s Centers for Community Well-Being are serving as a community resource and emergency relief site. Several locations are accepting essential item donations for victims.
- World Central Kitchen is working with restaurant and food truck partners to provide meals to feed first responders.
- Westside Food Bank provides meals to those in need and is helping with bulk donations of goods during the fires.
- The Salvation Army is providing critical aid, like shelter, food, and support, across southern California through their Emergency Disaster Fund.
- California City News – A local news outlet focused on city news, has compiled a list of reputable organizations which are accepting donations to assist those impacted by the wildfires. The list is being updated as additional resources are being identified.
