PEP Scholars Named for 2025 / Donors Recognized
The Paramount Education Partnership (PEP) awards annual college scholarships to local students attending a two- or four-year college or technical school through the generous donations of local businesses and individuals. Amounts range from $1,000 to $4,000.
This year, there were 59 scholarships totaling $196,000. Since 2004, PEP has given 596 college scholarships worth nearly $1.8 million dollars to local students

In conjunction with the Paramount Education Partnership (PEP), the City of Paramount operates the Community Learning Resource Center at Spane Park, 14400 Gundry Ave. A cornerstone of the community since 1985, the Center provides visitors of all ages with things like free Wi-Fi, loaner digital devices, and an afterschool learning program. In partnership with Cerritos College, Cal-State Long Beach, and the Paramount Unified School District, adults can also take advantage of ESL, parenting, and citizenship classes.
