The Planning Department, under the direction of the City Council and the Planning Commission, works to create a vibrant, attractive, and healthy environment to make Paramount the best possible place to live, work, play, shop, and own a business. Our department is known for providing exceptional customer service. We’re here to help you with your new construction or remodeling project and happily guide you through our local Planning and Building Safety guidelines.

The Planning Department is comprised of two divisions:

• Planning (zoning, entitlements, area plans)
